About Vice Versa

What we do

We promote the health, rights and dignity of women who are involved in exchanging sexual acts for some form of payment. This payment may be financial but may also take the form of drinks, drugs, food or shelter. We call this sexual exploitation or prostitution, but we acknowledge that women might have a different name for it.

Who we are

Vice Versa is a project delivered by Women’s Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (WRASAC). We provide a specialist bespoke service to all women. The aim is to increase women's safety whilst involved in prostitution and support each woman to find routes out of prostitution if this is something she wishes to do.

Mission and Aims

  • Reduce the harm to women whilst involved in prostitution
  • To support women who wish to exit prostitution to identify routes out
  • To offer emotional and practical support to women involved or at risk of involvement in prostitution.

In addition to this, Vice Versa is involved in raising awareness around the issues of prostitution and other forms of commercial sexual exploitation, the impact this has on survivors
